We took a terrifying 2 hour car ride from Seminyak to Tempaksiring, there were scooters weaving in and out of traffic, our driver was taking both hands off the wheel to play sped-up covers of pop songs on his phone? And at one point there was construction all over the road and we had to wait while the workers shovelled out a path for us to drive?? It was crazy!
Once we got to the accomodation all the stress of the drive was totally worth it though. It’s a treehouse in the jungle, overlooking rice paddies with an open-air upstairs bed and a beautiful pool.
We had frogs, bats and lizards come visit us while we were here, thankfully I didn’t have any critters visiting me in the night (that I know of) because it was a little freaky being in the jungle and only having a mosquito net between me and the outside 😅
