What else would you like to know about women's bodies ask in the comments below?
For women, estrogen levels rise before and during ovulation, causing an increase in sex drive. Meanwhile, high testosterone levels in men have been linked to higher libido.
Men reported that they like to start their day by having sex between 6 am and 9 am, while women preferred lovemaking between 11 pm to 2 am.
Here's How To Increase Vaginal Lubrication...Naturally. Wetness isn't always a sign of being horny. Sometimes wetness can mean a change in hormone levels or even being well hydrated. However if a woman is not wet she could also be turned on and just be needing lubricant or to look at the below to help increase it:
Drink More Water.
Exercise more often about 2-4 Times a Week.
Take a Vitamin D Supplement.
Take a Vitamin E One While You're at It.
Add Some Sea Buckthorn Oil to Your Regimen.
Consume Some Fatty Acids.
Have Some Isoflavones.
Up Your Protein.
But all said and done wetness is variable like a man being hard due to internal workings of a body too. So always remember being turned is a lot about the mind alone first for women. That is why foreplay a touch, a smile, magic words and also stimulation of the body is so important.
Generally female bodies are more flexible then mens.
Oestrogen receptors are known to be present in fibroblasts of tendon and ligaments and are believed to have a stimulating effect on fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis. This allows women to have increased flexibility over men. The weight distribution of our bodies is very different between women and men.
Nipple hardness is unique to the individual and has many causes. While the penis and clitoris get hard due to increased blöod flow to the tissue, nipples get hard due to stimulation of the muscles by specialized nerve cells. Nipples can also be hard from friction of clothes, hormonal change, excitement, and temperature.
Womenâs immune systems are stronger than menâs
Itâs all in the genes. Researchers from Ghent University in Belgium have argued these sex-specific health disparities may be due to genetic material called microRNAs.
The main function of microRNAs in cells is to turn off specific genes. The researchers say microRNAs located on the female X chromosome may give women an immune system advantage over males.
This finding seems to hold water as another study showed that women are diagnosed with cancer less frequently than men.
Women have a higher pain threshold
Though of course pain is subjective, it seems to be the case that women, in general, can at least handle the discomfort of pain better, a new study has proven. According to researchers at McGill University, men rated their pain higher than women did during a series of tests. Men also were observed being more âstressed and hypersensitiveâ when facing individual pain than women.
Women detect smells better
As Charles Wysocki, a behavioral neuroscientist at the Monell Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia, observed in his study, âIt is quite difficult to block a womanâs awareness of body odor. In contrast, it seems rather easy to do so in men.â The researchers think women are more attuned to underarm body odor because the biological data it contains helps them choose a potential partner. Well, it certainly beats Tinder.
The study tested 32 fragrances to see how well they could hide body odor. Among the male subjects, 19 of the fragrances worked to fool them. When it came to women, only two of the scents successfully overpowered the underarm pong.
Women can see more colors
Women have a larger âcolor vocabularyâ compared to men, according to research by Israel Abramov of CUNYâs Brooklyn College. Abramov asked men and women to break down the hue of a color and to assign a percentage to the categories of red, yellow, green and blue. The results showed that women were better at distinguishing between subtle gradations than men were. This sensitivity was most evident in the middle of the color spectrum. Women were better able to distinguish tiny differences between colors that looked identical to men. And this is why we should always be allowed to pick the paint colors in a new home.
Women have better memories
Have you ever had an argument with a woman only to have her bring up something from the past? Yep thatâs certainly my MO and, annoying as it may, be there may be a scientific reason for this. (At least thatâs my excuse and Iâm sticking to it.) Studies have shown that the gender difference may be a result of the way we teach our daughters and sons to tell stories. We make memories by storytelling. Research shows that when moms ask their kids for details about what happened in their days, theyâre actually training their kids in how to remember things. Azriel Grysman, who studies gender and memory at Hamilton College, says that gender norms orient girls more toward elaboration than boys, which may lead to better memories.
Womenâs necks are more flexible
Have you ever noticed that when men turn around they turn their whole bodies, but women turn only their heads? This is because women have more flexible necks. Women have a much more elastic muscle structure in general.
This does however mean that women are more prone to neck pain than men.
Women have sensitive hearing even while sleeping
And evolution is the reason here. Women are hypersensitive to sounds during sleep so that new mothers can hear and respond to crying babies. Women are most sensitive to high pitched noises in particular. This does sadly mean that women are more likely to suffer from sleep disorders. Earplugs are your friends here, ladies.
Women have one breast bigger than the other
Breast asymmetry is very common and affects more than half of all women. The old wives tale is that: the left breast is always larger because itâs positioned over the heart and therefore more blöod flows through it. But the real reason is simply genetics. The reason for this âsize differentialâ isnât clear â it may be because women have more breast tissue cells on one side, or the cells may be more sensitive to the effects of the hormone estrogen, which causes breast tissue cells to grow. Though the reasons arenât clear it is totally normal to have different sized breasts.
Womenâs bodies keep changing into their 20s
Adolescence doesnât meant the end of bodily changes for women. Acne, period cramps and the peak of metabolism all occur during womenâs 20s. Not only that but the body can become curvier and cellulite can start developing.
The 20s is a non-stop emotional and physical development ride, but this all settles down in womenâs 30s and beyond. Well that is until peri-menopauseâŠ
Womenâs brains are more intricately hard-wired
Dr Ragini Verma, PhD, an associate professor in the department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and colleagues found that womenâs brains are more interconnected than menâs.
This means that women are faster at making social connections and can adapt to routine more easily. But then we knew that, didnât we? lol

When I grew up there were two things I wanted to be. An Olympic athlete either in waterpolo or running and or The Prime Minister of Straya Mate.
I was running at an international level in my late teens and played at national level in waterpolo too. But when I finished school reality checked in. I was from a good family but not a wealthy one. I had to work. So the athlete dream went.
I wanted to be the Prime Minister because I thought it was actually about making a difference. Helping people. As I got older I learned politics was more of a game then it was about being a good heart. So I let that idea go to. Iâm not sure I would have ever made it anyway lol đ
Now Iâm just me. A woman, an ordinary girl, a mum, a yoga teacher, a personal trainer, an author, a human. Nobody knows me when I walk down the street.
But I realized one thing our dreams arenât a destination and our joy doesnât come from getting to some point. Itâs really about us choosing to live our dreams anyway, even if they donât tick boxes we may have set for accomplishments.
I personally may not be the Olympian I dreamed of. But Iâm still pretty stoked at nearly 40 I am doing things like this I thought would never be possible for me even in my 20s, and at nearly 40 here I am doing my impossible. Because break impossible down into small steps consistently over the years impossible becomes Iâm possible.
My other dream of helping people also came true. It may not be on the big scale I hoped but in small random acts of kindness I can make a difference every day to.
It is a great thing to realize that by continuing to show up for ourselves and live our dreams without a destination. We can get a lot of satisfaction and joy too and still achieve amazing things. Itâs you vs you always. Not you vs the destination or another.
What are your dreams and how are you chasing them? Comment below âŹïž

Iâm just a girl, just ordinary me.
Most people post to show you one facet of them.
Iâm a girl baring it all.
Iâm a health and well-being consultant helping others to live their best life.
A mother and woman holding compassion and understanding for the complexities of being human.
A fitness trainer, yoga teacher and author
All the while sharing softly the hidden facets of being human like sensuality (which I believe is the greatest gift we have as humans that we can all create within). Sensuality makes a woman or man move through this world with their glowing essence.
It stirs the imagination of all who witness and creates yearnings and pleasure for as far as the eyes can see.
To be human is to be everything we are born to be.
When I came on social media I decided being human doesnât have a look it has a feel. I know it confuses people because we are used to being boxed or being able to box others. Telling others we need more or less. Or others telling us we should be more or less. However the magic lies in letting a human be themselves and unfold in front of our eyes, just as they are. The discovery is the most exciting bit.
Isnât this what we crave; to know another deeply?
Yet in this world we prefer to mold and tell each other how they should be. Every area of our lives is trying to mold us, either through person to person connection, the algorithms or systems that play in our lives.
I hope the world moves in a direction where we can all unfold just as a flower blooms in its own time for all our sakes.
To know someone isnât to know their skin. But to know what makes their skin turn to goosebumps or heat up..
To know someone isnât to know their voice. But to know what makes their voice disappear or change in pitch in an instance.
To know someone isnât to know what they feel like. But to know how to make them feel us and lose control with vulnerability and trust.
To know someone isnât to know their day to day thoughts. But to know how to make that smile spread across their lips or how to dry those tears.
To know someone isnât to know what they love or hate. But to know how to make them see/feel they can be anything they want and watch them blossom right from under us.
To know someone ⊠finish this sentence.

At the moment we have a precious human body, which is the best vessel for crossing this perilous ocean of samsara. If we were to waste this precious life without taking full advantage of it, we would be extremely foolish. ~ Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
wish I could tell you fitness is easy.
I wish I could tell you getting older and keeping motivated was easy.
I wish I could tell you recovering from injury was linear.
I wish I could tell you motivation never runs out, you can achieve your goals in 30 days and itâs always fun.
I wish I could tell you people are always going to be there and not ignore you.
The truth is I canât.
The truth will set you free though.
Life is hard, keeping fit is a journey of a life time. People and friends will disappoint you and not be there for you. However for me it is harder being sick or unhealthy, not being there for myself and all of this I have some control over.
So itâs all about the art of choosing a life of suffering well and choosing your hard.
I choose the hard that makes me stronger and healthier, happier and me more there for me because it makes the best life for me.
The art of happiness is also the art of suffering well. When we learn to acknowledge embrace and understand our suffering, we will suffer much less. Not only that, but we can also move beyond our suffering and transform into understanding, compassion, respect and joy for ourselves and others in this world.
Many believe happiness and suffering are mutually exclusive and that one cannot experience happiness whilst going through difficult times. But that is not the true truth. It is not easy but through the difficult times we learn to adapt and grow. The art of suffering well involves accepting that suffering is part of life and learning to find meaning and purpose in the pain.
What do you choose?

Unedited photo of me just now.
Finished my shoulder, chest and bicep workout and completed my yoga. Time to start the day.
What are you working out today?
I believe unfortunately there is so much emphasis on aesthetics and the current body shape rather than the powerful positive effect and benefits of exercise physically and mentally. Lifting weights and using bodyweight (full body and muscle group isolation exercises) as resistance all contribute to building strength and, when combined with a healthy nutritional intake and cardio, mobility, meditation and yoga with dedication, consistency, training with intensity and focus, and of course patience, changes occur.
I am nearly 40 and I never thought I would feel fitter than in my 20s or be in this strong body.
It takes time but âŠThese changes include improvements in strength, posture, core strength, flexibility, endurance, body composition, and a more positive mental outlook.
I know for me it is about focusing on my performance, improvements and progressions and how I feel â whether it is performing my first full push up or press after my neck injury this year or, straddle pose with glute activation to help my sciatica or even running that first 5km I havenât run in forever â is a much more positive and productive way to gauge progress and encourage consistency, rather than scales.
How do you gauge your fitness đȘ?

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves, no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I â
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

This woman makes my heart sing
@audriasana 's women and the Beautiful Michelle are magnificent in my eyes.
I remember this shoot well. First I had dinner with Michelle and her partner. We then drove back to where we were staying. We then walked to this spot on the side of a main road by the river at sunset and took our clothes off. We got bitten by mozzies and made this fun shoot.
I know most models wouldn't do a photoshoot after a meal. Not Michelle. I know many people would have to plan it. Not Michelle. I love how spontaneous she is. I love the authenticity of Michelle and her heart always seeing fun, play and art to be made anywhere and everywhere.
For me creating art with other women is one of the greatest gifts. To see another beautiful women shine is a magnificent thing and to be in her light and witness them in person is truly breathtaking.
I'm always going to be the girl that loves seeing other women shine, who is inspired & grateful for them. Who knows her world is better off because of them. When I grow up my heart dreams of being just as amazing and as beautiful Michelle and so many other women that I have crossed paths with. This woman makes my heart sing

A little about me
Was börn in Tasmania
I am highly sensitive
I care about and worry about everyone else more than myself
I eat bread every day
I often do what others want and I am learning to say yes to me more
I struggle to follow the rules, not because I don't want to, but because I am just different and my heart and mind goes somewhere else.
I have dyslexia
I have a daughter that doctors said I could never have
I am shy through and through but use my senses and sensuality to tune out so I can seem extroverted
I think sensuality and sexuality is beautiful and a very important part of life, however I see it through the lens of healing and health rather than what our animalistic culture does today
I love difficult conversations and talking about everything and anything
I am passionate about caring and helping others
I do not like labels and all these stigmas and untruths floating around in our world
I do not like the algorithms I love authenticity
I am a lover but struggle to feel good enough to be loved
DeÀth does not scare me but leaving this world before I make it a better place does
I save hard and work hard, but also use a lot of my money to help others
I love dealing with difficult people to learn how the mind works and about myself
I never feel like I fit in
I need to move every day
I love teddy bears
I love cold showers
I wash my hair everyday
I love cleaning it keeps my mind clear
I love the sound of shoes walking on pavement.
I am excited to see where life goes to
I do not drink much and have only been drĂŒnk once
I am strong minded by soft hearted and often do for others more than me
I am often wishing I could be more than I am
I walk the streets wondering what peoples super talent is. Can they play Mozart, do flips, are they a whizz at maths or an amazing artists etc
Appearance to me is about the eyes shining and the heart being felt on the outside
I worry a lot but believe everything will work out
I am positive about what I can accomplish but never share this out loud. Growing up in Australia with the Tall Poppy syndrome makes it uncomfortable.
My ch1ldhöod was hard work, challenging but also taught me a lot and I am grateful from where I can from even if it was not perfect I would not change a thing.
I feel life is a game but also very personal and we need to mean what we do and care for those around us.
I don't get jealous, I get inspired to do more
I learned my trÀumas are not their to stop me but make me a more genuine person
I love sharing but think it is important to have meaning when we share
I believe self discipline is self love and I am extremely self disciplined. If I say I am going to do it I am going to do it.
I love learning but struggle to do it in front of others
Sensuality and senses make me feel alive
I am reserved but full of energy
I am curious and want to know everyones story
I dream of better tomorrow's and will work my whole life to make it happen.

Physical benefits of yoga:
increased flexibility, muscle strength & tone.

cardio -circulatory health.
improved athletic performance.
protection from injury.
And a well-crafted naked yoga practices remove any sense of restriction from clothing, promoting a greater sense of freedom, confidence, and an enhanced appreciation for the body. Seeing and feeling the body as it stretches and moves from one pose to the next results in a more mindful, sensual and connected practice.

A little wicked Tassie D in wicked weasel for you all. What do you think?
I always wanted to model when I was yöunger and even be sponsored by a brand like this on social media. However this has never happened. I guess I am my own kind of brand and I am grateful also for the kind members who send me gifts like this.
Someone asked me recently what my fav yoga position was for sex. I had to think about it.... I am not your average human who has fav yoga positions to practice or things in general. Life is about the feel for me.
It is not an answer that is straight forward. Sex to me is about how one feels and the pleasure you can get from the feels. It is not a plan, what you wear, or a position. It is about connection to your self and or another and being in the moment to get lost.
Ive always said when people as me who is my type of person..someone who makes me feels seen and laugh... Ive never understood the ability to place ourselves in brackets or definitions by labels only feel things.
As Ive gotten older life has changed me and my thoughts have changed and feels have changed. I think this is so important to remember what turned us on 10 - 20 years ago will be different to now. What gives us pleasure will be different from now, who makes us happy and what exercise keeps us fit for me at least is different now too.
I find that I am always still discovering what turns me on in life and in the bedroom. I am ever evolving and love the experience of discovery.
This is why I am grateful I have lived in so many places in the world (on a cruise ship, Australia, Austria, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland and Thailand to name a few), so I can see new cultures, connect with new people, try new foods, things, experiences and it makes me realise there is no wrong or right way to live or be human. There is just different ways.
20 years ago I would have said I would never be sharing my art, teaching yoga online and naked top tiers p@treon to join link in socials.... That was not on my list of things to do or something that I was taught appropriate.
However here I am and so grateful to be doing it. I love connecting to like minded souls (photographers and the women of @audriasana )
What is something 10 - 20 years ago you did not do and you are doing now? Has your exercise and health routine changed over the last 10 to 20 years?
What turns you on then and now?
Has your fav foods changed?
Let us have some wicked conversations and get to know each other a little more deeply comment below.
So many people think they know me and truly see me by viewing my naked skin on social media or in my art.
So many people think that seeing someone and knowing someone is by seeing them with their clothes off. But I ask you this: can you tell me about their dreams, their heartbreaks, their overcomings, their traumas, their passions, their loves, what turns them on and brings them joy?
Can you tell me about their childhood or, better yet, tell me about a memory of theirs you do not even exist in?
Can you tell me what they eat, how they work on their health or if they are struggling with mental health?
Can you tell me how they feel pleasure in life and with another, what turns them on or makes them come alive?
Can you tell if they are partnered, how often they have sex, if they have children and their ages, do they own their house, what was their education, do they drink tea or coffee, do they have siblings?
If you see one do a workout naked or yoga, can you tell me how many years it took to learn a skill, how many hours a week they train, what their training looks like?
You may have seen their skin and my skin and some may have even touched our bodies. But you still know as much about us as a book you once found, but never got around to opening and reading.
What we forget is that we humans are art and we do not need to understand each other to hold compassion, respect, and love. What we forget is that we do not know someone by seeing them naked in the skin they were born in and we are not built to validate othersâ opinions.
We need to accept people for the beautiful ambiguity that they are. In a world where so many turn their pain onto others, turn your pain into artâthe brushstrokes of your life, the movements, the love, and the masterpiece of who you are.
Be art with heart in a world with metaphoric humans.
New naked yoga and workouts now available on top tiers p@treon link in socials
How many years do you think it took me to learn this skill?
Many peopleâs imaginations go wild when they see someone doing yoga.
It can often be misappropriated in the world of social media and, being that we are visual creatures by nature.
However, it has raised this common question: does yoga make for better sex?
Letâs talk about sex, baby. Letâs talk about you and me. Letâs talk about all the good thingsâŠanyone remember that song?
The truth is, yoga can create better sex but not in the way the world thinks; it is on a much deeper level than people think. Everything is connected.
A fancy yoga pose may create fun but the truth is, great sex is about creating a great connection to yourself and the person you are with.
Yoga is a great example of how we can look at self-care and how self-care is what truly creates better sex. And that is what yoga is about: self-care. So, yes, it does link to better sexâwhen practiced mindfully.
Yoga is a form of self-care that helps us to work with our inner world, our inner voice, and gives us a position to feel connected to ourselves, get to know ourselves, and feel beautiful in our own skin whilst enjoying our own company and being more compassionate and realistic with ourselves
Yoga, to me, is powerful because not only does it help with mental health, it helps us to learn about our likes and dislikes and it helps us build strength, flexibility, mobility, and fitness. It also helps us to learn what turns us on and off in life. It teaches us the balance between repression and excess.
You see, knowing what turns you on is a question people automatically think is sexual, but being turned on in everyday life is what brings our lives more joy and happiness and helps us to live a full, passionate life. And to know what turns us on in life can help us build tools to manage our mental health and find routines of self-care.

One of the most important things is we must realize that we always win if we are working on our goals. However, we must remember the small pictures add up to the bigger picture. The dislikable moments actually create the peachy ones.
If you donât love something but it is part of the journey to your goals. You gotta learn ways to find joy in the process of doing it, so you can get those dreams.
When I work out on the days that Iâm not feeling it, stand up early and wish I could sleep in, work every day and dream of more time to myself⊠I remember how far Iâve come and realize it was all worth it..
Some of the things that make it more fun for me on the journey of becoming isâŠ
Making a good playlist - any recommendations?
Listening to stories of others lives or podcasts, so I can remember the struggle is universal.
Focusing on my purpose and dreams instead of why I donât want to do it.
Happy Monday. I ap-peach-iate you all đ„°
When I was asked to share my story and write a book, I felt overwhelmed and truly vulnerable.
When I started using social media, I decided to use it not for likes but as a way of stripping back my layers to heal and build connections with myself and others.
I have experienced personal trauma that led me to an attempt at taking my life when my daughter was two years old. Exploring how to strip back my protective layers, to feel brave and beautiful again, and to make the rest of my life the best of my life encouraged me to get out of head and more into my body and heart and reconnect with both myself and others.
I wanted to feel less judged, less insecure, and less scared. I wanted to feel more accepted, more worthy, more confident, more me, and more lovedâjust as I am.
The place I choose to do this was on social media, and ever since I came online, I wanted to build the type of community that allowed us to be brave, to open our minds and hearts, to get fit from the inside out, and to both âbareâ it all (allowing ourselves to be vulnerable when appropriate) and âbearâ it all (accepting both the good and the bad with patience and grace). This is when we could feel our most beautiful and live our best lives.
But many do not realise that being brave looks different for everyone.
For some, it is skydiving. For some, it is going naked. For some, it is asking a question, leaving their partner, telling a truth, or facing a spider. For me, however, it means being open enough to really get to know and love ourselves, stripped of all societal pressures and expectations. And when it comes to being beautiful, well, weâre all beautiful in our own ways, so itâs just about accepting our own truth and embracing and believing in ourselves.
Part of this journey has been working with body love and being nude.
My first experience as an adult being nude with other adults in a public environment was in a small-town sauna in Austria with my partnerâs parents, the town mayor, and the head of police, along with a few neighbours. I had no idea a sauna meant being nude in Austria, but it opened my eyes. Being nude with such well-known people in the community showed me that society has gotten nudity so wrong in its association with porn, and also so underrated for its healing benefits.
It has been extremely hard sharing my art and healing journeyâwith being misunderstood, shamed, judged, and attacked on line. However, being nude has played such an important role in my body-positive life and my healing. It has also given me the gift to see that our bodies do not limit us no matter the shape or size. It is our mindset that doesâand you realise this while being privy to all different body sizes, shapes, colors, and ages on this journey of learning to be nude. You learn that most can be happy in their imperfections or unique beauty.
I think it is important that we as humans are surrounded by people who have healthy perceptions of their own body. In this age of filters and curating ourselves online with clothes, makeup, lights, and angles, we have all developed a complex that we are not enough. When truly, we are all enough and beautifulâand we need to realise that we must stop curating ourselves and judging others for how they look.
I grew up with a mother who never wanted to wear a swimsuit because her mother told her she was not pretty enough. It saddened me that my mom would never swim with me. As a kid and even as an adult, all I could see was my beautiful mom who I wanted to spend time with, but the judgement and shame had limited her in life because she felt unworthy.
When I was younger, I always had a fit bodyâI was an athlete, and after pregnancy, I continued my athleticism. It has never been easy. It is many hours of work including making time at 5 a.m., self-discipline (which I believe is self-love), time management skills, and compromises about time spent on social media, or watching Netflix, or choosing healthier foods when I had cravings. I worked consistently on good habits and my mental health, and it took hours and hours of practice to develop my skills.
But what people will never see is that it was never about my body firstâit was always about me feeling well. It helped me manage my mental health. As a new mom, I found it extremely toughâand being online or offline made no difference: people shamed me for my body. They said I had it easy, that I had the time to do what it took to have specific body type. Or that I was selfish and did not take care of my daughter well enough. Or that I was in the porn industry. It was devastating.
However, for me, being selfish wasnât about my bodyâbeing selfish meant taking my own life and leaving my daughter in this world without me. This is what would have happened had I not started stripping back the layers and finding movement to be my medicine. I was, and am still, in fact, caring for myself so I would never try to take my own life again. I was also showing my daughter how to manage adversity, how to do hard things to get results, and how fitness can be fun and a part of life. It is possible to make time for any kind of self-care, including fitness, even whilst you raise a kid, work, travel, and go through lifeâs challenges.
Part of my nudity journey came from watching my daughter run around unapologetically in her own skin. She did not question her value, even with her soft dimpled bottom, her rashes, or the world around her. She just lived like normalâshe wasnât limited by her physical looks; she didnât feel ashamed. It made me realise it is not a life with or without clothes, it is just life. It is not yoga with or without clothes, it is just yoga. It is not a shower with or without clothes, it is just a shower. And we should all be able to be comfortable in our skin.
These days, as more of us become a part of the social media generation, we are constantly bombarded with labels, judgment, and filtered reality, which isnât real.
This is why I share all facets of my beingâbecause real is when we heal, when we become who we are always meant to be, when we meĂ«t our tribe, when we feel our best and can handle life a lot better.
When I was a kid my dad used to get changed in public, stripping down naked at pools and beaches and walking through the house naked. It made me feel uncomfortable because I did not know anyone else who did it. However, as I got older and started to do it more myself, I realised it was only uncomfortable because it was new and the world had taught me it wasnât okay.
When my daughter came along and ran around naked, I realised what my dad had been trying to teach me all along, and I remember that heâd shared with me about the aboriginal cultures also doing the same. Our mind is the battlefield, not our body.
Nudity has helped me to remember the body is naturally naked. It helped me to get out of my thoughts and into my body, to let go of that which does not belong to me.
I have come to realise a lot of people just wonât see me or love me because they are too busy making up stories about who I am, and hating or loving me for what I am not.
I have come to realise so many of us feel alone because we are too busy talking about othersâ lives instead of telling our stories.
I have come to realise so many of us are lost in a story we donât belong to because we focused on the externals instead of the internals.
I have come to realise more than ever that the greatest power you can give yourself is the ability to write your own storyâyes, we must observe others and the world around us, and we should listen with intention, but then we need to live our own story.
Doing this helps to take away the pain of lost love, the hurt within hurt people, the judgement and shame of others that you do not need to own, the lack of hope and faith that make us fearful of the unknown.
Because writing our own story means that we become accountable for who we are. Our focus turns to where we come from and what we can controlâand we become too busy being the upward spiral of kindness to let externals dictate or limit us anymore. It also helps us to attract those who see us and the things we want. We simply cannot catch our dreams from a place we donât belong, with stories that are not ours. We can only catch our dreams by taking one step at a time, remembering who we are and where we are this moment.
