You will see me sweat, huff, puff, not know how to coordinate my feet and arms and die just like you doing a workout. One of the things we do not see on social media is a person getting down and dirty. We see beautifully edited content. We see a person glowing and glistening and we see all the things that getting fit isn't. The truth is getting fit is hard. When I first started sharing my content I started sharing through the practice of my home practice. I would workout in my underwear and put it on social media. Over time as I could not afford a coach I started working out naked to see how my muscles worked. I found it so helpful to watch my muscles activate and my body move unrestricted and free. It helped me to learn where I was not engaging and build a mind muscle connection. However it also helped me to learn to appreciate my body and accept it. There is nothing more beautiful and intriguing than watching a naked body move. That is why there are so many people creating art of naked bodies, searching for naked bodies and history shows statues of naked bodies all around Europe. As well as the medical and sport science fields all studying the body. It truly is a beautiful gift to appreciate the human form and learn from it. Of course there is erotica and sexuality but it is so much more once you learn to appreciate it. Erotica and sexuality are part of the human experience however without actually appreciating and working on our own health we will never fully experience the depths of sexuality and erotica with ourselves and others. Why? Because we will always be limited with not knowing ourselves and or our self love and capabilities for ourselves. My evolution of sharing my workouts has been a slow one of 6-7 years. I was never just that naked girl. I was also a girl naked at home as I grew up that way. I never actually realised so many households did not grow up the same way as me. Social media was a real overwhelming eye opener once I started posting. What I loved however was through the experience of sharing and learning myself through social media posting and training. I grew my own practice, self love and acceptance of my own body the more I shared and normalised it. When I put photos and videos of myself out there, I can’t tell you the number of people who are quick to judge. I have also had my content misappropriated and used by others for their own purposes, which breaks my heart. In Europe, I can go into a sauna naked with strangers, and we’ll sit and have a conversation like people in any other normal situation. Yet if I post a swimsuit or an underwear or nude content on social media, suddenly I’m a bad mother, a porn star, a woman of little value and an individual undeserving of respect. In the same way, I can be on the beach in a bikini, yet if I wear a short skirt in the street, I’ll be questioned about whether I’m setting a good example as a mother. Less clothing isn’t a crime on the beach and it shouldn’t be on social media, nor does it make anyone suddenly a bad person. The truth is it still hurts every time someone puts a label on me when they don’t even know me. How is it that humans can hate so much? I’ll tell you why: it’s because we all live in fear of what’s different or unfamiliar. Society has sexualised the human body to a confusing extent. For instance, in recent years, some social media platforms have at last officially amended their censorship policies to allow uncensored childbirth-related images. This is amazing news – but it still begs the question of what’s wrong with showing women with exposed nipples in other situations? Nipples create lives, but society has twisted the truth so beautifully that we think we damage lives by showing them! Our conditioning means it can be difficult as a woman to feel nude is normal or even for men, that a naked body is the most natural thing that exists. At some point we need to realise that society’s so-called truths don’t all make sense... We need to call out hypocrisy where we find it, while remaining open to new possibilities. My aim here is to help us all and hope you join me too to stop berating and shaming and hiding ourselves. Instead, let’s love and celebrate our bodies for all their gifts. For all our sakes, please let’s spend our valuable years on this planet thinking about something other than our weight and imaginary flaws and judging others. It’s not the human body that’s offensive. It is not the human body that is ugly, beautiful or flawed. It’s our perspective, our conditioning, our teachings, our thoughts. Human bodies create movement, hence experiences and life. It is our thoughts that create the stigma... Change your thoughts and watch your life change; change your thoughts and watch your body change before your eyes. You see, you can make heaven out of hell or a hell out of heaven all by the way you think. If you want to feel loved, change your thoughts. Want a better life, change your thoughts. Your thoughts are your superpower and your key to a better tomorrow. While changing your thinking won’t necessarily make everything better overnight, it’s a small thing that can make a big difference. Honor the anger, give pain space to be felt this is how we let go. Ask yourself: is the emotion genuine or is this an old reinforced pattern that has healing required because it keeps coming back? The world will hurt us and so will others intentionally or unintentionally and we will do the same to others….However it is our responsible to heal by leaning in, accepting what is. We cannot erase memories but we can let go of the heavy energy that is attached to them. Without struggles the world and us as humans would not be as strong and wise as we are today. Without difficulties we would not know that love was a power. Your healing helps the blossoming of existence into love. When we heal we all heal. A real sign of progress is when we no longer punish yourself for your imperfections.

2023-06-25 18:11:02 +0000 UTC View PostIt is a strange world we live in for me: -When we live in a world of bodies, we all have sêx and yet we all shame each other for our bodies and skin. -When people can take online content of others and put them on pörn sites and the person who created the content is shamed; and the person who stole the content and shared it did not get shamed. -When our bodies create every aspect of our lives from talking, kids, getting dressed, eating, being with family, going to work and have sêx. Yet we are sêxualising the body more than we appreciate it for our every day experiences. -When I have a shower I do not have a clothed shower or naked shower, I just have a shower. But I have to explain the difference between naked or clothed yoga and movement as two different things. -When I as a woman can be celebrated for creating a kid and my body as it is pregnant is beautiful. But when I am not pregnant it is inappropriate as it is sêxual only and I should hide it. -When Doctors see me naked to do tests and give birth and my kid was börn naked and yet I am damaging to kids when I am naked. -When I can wear a bikini to the beach with my family but on social media a bikini is considered sêxual content and inappropriate for yöung kids. -When there is wär in the world, pöverty and other such things like global warming happening and the body for some reason is up there as the worst thing to be naked. -When we all have sêx, we make bäbies through séx and all have desires, yet it is something we do not talk about, shame each other for and consider it to be inappropriate. -When women's nipples give nourishment to kids but are considered inappropriate and mens nipples are okay. I hope one day we can become a more world rounded society. When I post here on OF words such as childrën, babies, bloöd, meêt, sêx, yöung, p@treon and more are band as inappropriate yet they are all in the dictionary. The beaches, plants and waterways and forrest etc.... because as we know when we disrespect nature it gets damaged and when we disrespect bodies they also get damaged. So lets put it simply.... we are all nature. To bloom we all need to be respected and nurtured, mother earth and mother earths children that is us humans. Nature is constantly changing, even before the dawn of humanity. From the breakup of Pangaea to the extinction of dinosaurs, from the Sahara Pump to the Ice Age, Earth has completely changed from what it was millions of years ago. Beyond these spontaneous events, initiated by Nature itself, Humans are continuously adapting the Planet to accommodate their needs through careless interaction with their surrounding environment. It is time to not only look after our mother the earth better but ourselves. The problems we are facing now are tough in the environmental and also in humanity realm (racism, sexism, body issues etc). However, the good news is that, you don’t have to be an expert or a millionaire to save the Planet - everyone can help to do their bit for the environment. In other words, if each of us can be more conscious of environmental issues and how we interact with ourselves and each other and be willing to take some simple steps, we can make a huge contribution to better our world and humanity by bettering ourselves.

It can be tough, sad, unfair, chaotic and confusing at times, but it’s also breathtakingly beautiful and worth it. I started my Instagram page and YouTube channel – Open Hearts Can Unite – about 9 years ago with the intention of having a space to express myself from the heart in a world where that can feel tough to do. I have been blown away by the following that it has attracted, and I’m immensely grateful for the incredible engagement and daily interaction that I now have. Having gone through some tough times, I never expected to be online teaching people to get fit from the inside out. To be honest, after having a kid I struggled in all sorts of ways and I never thought I’d wear a bikini again even in the privacy of my own back yard, never mind be happy to share so much of myself online. But I have come to realize that this was just one of many limiting beliefs that I had taken on from society around me. Now more than ever I realize that I can do anything I want to do and be anything I want to be. And so can you! My Naked Truth Statement I’m Rhy I’m a yoga teacher and wellbeing consultant I taught myself pole dancing I have experienced abüse, been räped and tried to commit süicide I lost a kid I have a beautiful daughter I post regular photos and videos of myself online, with commentaries on life, love and yoga I view my body as a gift and don’t feel that clothes should define us My images, with or without clothes, are about art and freedom My heart hurts from all the judgement in the world I wish I could fix it so my daughter didn’t have to experience this hatred It’s hard being misunderstood in my yoga and fitness The judgement can be overwhelming but all I can do is show my journey and let others share theirs I used to be terrified of being my true self – honest and vulnerable But I’d rather be judged for my truth than for something “perfect” that’s not who I really am And this is just part of my story... My Naked Truth Statement reminds me that I’m so many different things: a yoga teacher and a mom, an Instagrammer and a YouTuber, and a person who – like most of us – has experienced pain and heartbreak, as well as incredible joy and love. Essentially, I’m just a woman who’s trying to do her best, and I want to share with you the discoveries I’ve made along the way. A bit about me I was born in Hobart, Tasmania. I’ve always loved health and fitness – I started walking at 9 mnths and never stopped moving from there! I played water polo and swam for Tasmania, and competed in track events at the Pan-Pacific Games, before becoming a fitness director. Today, I run a range of online wellness programmes. But while I’m in a good place now, I’ve been through some dark times. Why do I practise yoga? People often ask me why I practise yoga. I don’t practise the poses alone; I practise the breath. Yoga means ‘union’, with the mind acting as a bridge between body and soul. The breath becomes a tool for calming the thoughts, and bringing the body and mind back into balance. In 2015, I was living in Saudi Arabia and struggling like hell with depression. It was hard being thousands of miles away from home, while I tried to figure out this thing called motherhood. I felt lost and overwhelmed. Then I discovered yoga, which literally saved my life and soul. Now I am here, a few years later, doing more than I thought possible – happier than ever. If you follow me online, you’ll know I want everyone to discover how enjoying movement and being comfortable in your mind and body aren’t unattainable or unrealistic goals. Everyone deserves to feel at home in their body, their mind and soul, whatever their level of fitness. When people first started asking me to write a book, share my art online and yoga and workouts, I wasn’t sure. But the more I thought about it, the more I could see the value in sharing the lessons I’ve learned from my experiences. I decided to get out of my own way and talk honestly about them in the hope that this might help people who are going through similar things. How can I help you? My shares are not a how-to handbook to achieving the perfect asana (yoga pose) or a guru’s guide to enlightenment. You’ll find no rules or prescriptions. I’m keen for voice and shares to act like stepping stones, inviting you on a journey of self-discovery – to get out of your head and into your body and heart. To find whatever it is that makes you feel fit, open, vibrant, contented and free. It’s a journey that might take you to some challenging places along the way to finding your truth, but it’s better to be judged for your truth than something that you don’t believe. This small group of muscles near the front of your hips affect the movement of your knee, upper legs, and pelvic area. Your hips are at the base of your spine and therefore their flexibility has an effect on your entire body. Tight hip flexors can lead to low back pain, poor posture, glute pain, and even neck tightness. Practicing the splits can drastically improve your hip mobility for more fluidity and less pain in your daily movement. These long muscles run along the back of your legs from the upper thigh down to the calf. Regularly stretching out your hamstrings and working toward the splits could help relieve knee pain, back pain, foot pain, and/or issues with your posture.
